North Fork Wedding Venues and Business Event Venues

 

We offer some of the best venues for your next meeting or event, whether it be a wedding, graduation, shower, birthday, business meeting, catered dinner, business retreat, or any other even requiring a beautiful setting.

Under each venue, there are two buttons. One will take you to the calendar to view available dates. The second will take you to the Venue Application. It is highly recommended to call or text the office on 631-298-9103 to make an appointment to visit any of the venues; applications and payment must be done in person.

 

We even make our beaches and parks available for special occasions. Below are some of the North Fork venues available:

Community room
The Venue at Veterans Park

The Community Room at Veterans Memorial Park overlooks Peconic Bay and is available to rent year-round to residents and non-residents for parties, gatherings, and meetings. It's a perfect location for a wedding or wedding reception. The  Capacity is: 81 (or 150 when you add our adjacent picnic area with a tent.)

 

It has tables and chairs to accommodate 80 people as well as a prep-kitchen with plenty of counter space. Rental fee includes six 6' and eight 5' round tables (seats 8 and 6, respectively). In addition, there are five 6' and four 8' rectangular tables. 85 chairs are included. Combine this with the adjacent Vets Picnic Area to accommodate an additional 70 people.

 

There is an outdoor covered porch with picnic tables that overlooks the West Lawn area, the beach, and Peconic Bay.

 

The building is adjacent to a large picnic area that can be rented separately or along with the room for extra space.

Mattituck/Laurel residents (and full-time renters) get a significant discount on this space.

 

Facilities may be booked a year in advance. Facilities are for rental by Mattituck-Laurel residents. Out-of-town residents may rent, if available, 60 days prior at approximately an additional 25% fee compared to the price for residents.

A Security & Damages Deposit is required which is dependent on the size of the party. 

Using a caterer and serving alcohol? Your caterer will need to be licensed and insured in compliance with the NYS Liquor Authority and have the proper forms on file with us. We have a list of local caterers and other related service providers who have already been vetted by us .

Rental Rates

You can rent this Venue by the hour or for a 6, 10 or 14 hour blocks for large events. (The rates for the 10 & 14 hour blocks include both the Venue as well as the Picnic Area.)  Rates vary based on the day of the rental. Friday thru Sunday is more expensive than Monday thru Thursday. 

Resident Rates

By the hour:

  • Monday - Thursday: $120/hour

  • Friday - Sunday: $150/hour​​

Any 6 hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: $500

  • Friday - Sunday: $700

Any 10 hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: $800

  • Friday - Sunday: $1,150

Any 14 hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: $1,150

  • Friday - Sunday: $1,500

Non-Resident Rates

Picnic area
The Picnic Area at Veterans Memorial Park

Adjacent to the Community Room at Veterans Memorial Park is a large picnic area overlooking Peconic Bay. This area can be rented separately or along with the community room.

The 7,000 sq. ft. picnic area is 50' wide x 140' deep and can accommodate up to of 200 people and tents up to 20' x 20' and larger. We can recommend area tent suppliers.

Mattituck/Laurel residents (and full-time renters) get a significant discount on this space.

A Security & Damages Deposit is required which is dependent on the size of the party.

This venue can be rented in 8-hour increments.  Rates vary based on the day of the rental and the number of people. Friday thru Sunday is more expensive than Monday thru Thursday. This picnic area and the adjacent Venue at Veterans Memorial Park can be rented together.

    • Up to 25 people: No charge

    • ​26-79 people: Mon-Thr $130; Fri-Sun  $180​

  • Any 14 hours:​

    • Up to 200 people: Mon-Thr $400; Fri-Sun  $800

Non-Resident Rates:

  • Any 8 hours:

    • Up to 79 people: Mon-Thr $175; Fri-Sun $225​

  • Any 14 hours:​

    •  Up to 200 people: Mon-Thr $500; Fri-Sun $1,000

Conference room
The Conference Room at Veterans Memorial Park

The Conference Room at Veterans Memorial Park is perfect for a smaller meeting. It can seat up to 20 people comfortably (121 if you rent the adjoining Venue Space) and has access to a 55" HD display. This can be rented separately or in conjunction with the adjacent Venue Space.

Mattituck/Laurel residents (and full-time renters) get a significant discount on this space.

A Security & Damages Deposit is required which is dependent on the size of the party.

Bailie Beach
Bailie Beach Lodge

The Bailie Beach Lodge is located on the east side of the Mattituck Inlet in the upland area of "Oregon Hills" on picturesque sand dunes overlooking the Long Island Sound and Mattituck Inlet. The facility has a large meeting room, commercial kitchen, and bathrooms and is a perfect location for a wedding or wedding reception. It may be rented for meetings, parties, retreats, and other events.

The property was acquired in 1943 by the Mattituck Park District. Formerly part of the Mira Bailie estate, the land is surrounded by wetlands to the west and south, sometimes referred to as the Oregon Marsh Tidal Wetlands.

Local Boy Scout and Girl Scout Troops have meetings and events here; the lodge is available for rent by Long Island Scouts for camping outings and overnights. The cost is $50/person for a two-night stay, $35/person for a one-night stay and $20/person for a day trip. A Security & Damages Deposit of $100 is required.

Capacity: 150 people. The lodge has 140 chairs, six 6'-round tables and four 6'-rectangular tables.

Rental Rates

This venue is rented in 10-hour increments between 10AM and 11PM. Rates for non-residents are higher. 

Resident Rates​

Non-Resident Rates​

  • Any 10 hours:

    • $1,250​ or

    • $150/hr

The rates for Scouts is as follows: $50 per person (scouts and chaperones) for a two-night stay. $35 per person for a one-night stay. And $20 per person for those visiting for the day.

Breakwater Beach Pavilion
The Pavillion at Breakwater Beach

Breakwater Beach overlooks the Long Island Sound and has a pavilion with picnic tables and volleyball courts that's available to rent for events; anyone is always welcome to bring a picnic hamper and enjoy the view.

Capacity: 30

Rental Rates for Breakwater Pavillion
Aldrich Field
Soccer Fields on Aldrich Lane & Volleyball at Breakwater

The Mattituck Park District owns and maintains soccer fields on Aldrich Lane in Laurel. The MPD also maintains a Volley Ball Court at Breakwater Beach. 

We share some of the fields with the Mattituck-Cutchogue Union Free School District. (Please note that the adjacent basket ball court is the property of the School District and is NOT MPD property.) Field Use Permits for Fields 1A & B at the Aldrich Lane Fields are available to all groups that apply. All organizations will need to fill out a Special Use Permit application in person at the Mattituck Park District Office. All other Mattituck Park District owned facilities are available for requested use as follows:

 

  1. School District programs and events on School District property (Fields 2, 3, and 4). 

  2. Organized, resident, non-profit programs. 

  3. Organized, resident, for-profit programs

  4. Organized, non-resident, non-profit programs

  5. Organized, non-resident, for-profit programs.

  6. Non-organized, resident, non-profit use*

  7. Non-organized, resident, for-profit use.

  8. Non-organized, non-resident, non-profit use

  9. Non-organized, non-resident, for-profit use

 

*Use of the fields 1A and 1B for informal, non-organized, non-supervised play (e.g. pick-up games, family games, etc.) is permitted without fee when organized practice or games are not scheduled. Field use of fields # 2 and #3 for informal, non-organized, non-supervised play (e.g. pick-up games, family games, etc.) is permitted without fee subject to the terms and condition of the IMA with the School District. Scheduled use takes precedence over unscheduled field use.
