Resident Beach Permits

Beach parking permits will arrive in the first week of February. You may pre-order online at the link below. They will also be on sale in the office, during regular business hours, starting Friday 7 February 2025.
This page is only for resident purchases. Non-residents please purchase your permits by clicking here and going to the desired permit type. Permits will only be sold online or at Veterans Memorial Park.
What is New for 2025?
Resident Beach Permits will NOT be sold at Breakwater Beach or Peconic Bay Park.
The 2025 permits are permits and must be affixed on the outside of the automobile, on any window on the PASSENGER side. If you have a Southold Town Parking Permit, it can be affixed next to that.
How much does a Resident Beach Permit cost?
The annual cost for a permit is $25.
Who Qualifies to Purchase a Resident Beach Permit?

Residency can be verified with a Mattituck or Laurel property tax bill, a driver's license or car registration showing a Mattituck or Laurel address, a different type of government ID that matches the property tax roll, a voter registration card, or a year-round lease.
How long is the Beach Permit good for?
A Resident Beach Permit is good for the entire calendar year.
Where Can I Purchase a Permit?
If you own your Mattituck or Laurel property through a trust, LLC or corporation, or co-own with family members, you must purchase your permit in the office during business hours.
